THE 8TH EDITION OF ADDITƐD IS ATTRACTING THE MAJOR PLAYERS IN THE ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING SECTOR
New technologies, new markets and new opportunities These will be the inputs around which the new edition of ADDITƐD will revolve, the nationally leading industrial space for Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing, which has once again attracted the interest of the sector’s major companies. This eighth edition will be held from 3 to 7 June at Bilbao Exhibition Centre.
Over the course of five days, the latest technological developments in terms of systems and machinery, industrial applications, raw materials for additive manufacturing, consumables, software projects and 3D scanning scanners and services will be presented.

This morning, Food 4 Future – Expo Foodtech 2024 announced the news of their latest edition, which will once again transform Bilbao into the capital of food innovation at global level. This year, for the first time ever, it will be held at the same time as Pick&Pack for Food Industry. Under the slogan ‘Foodtech 6.0’, F4F – Expo Foodtech will bring together more than 8000 visiting professionals, 280 exhibiting companies and over 450 international experts who will share solutions, strategies and success stories to help transform food production plants into greener, more sustainable, technological and digital factories.
BEC TO HOST THE WORLD BANK’S INNOVATE4CLIMATE 2023 CONFERENCE
The World Bank Group’s international conference on Climate Action is back for its 7th year. After two years of virtual meetings, Innovate4Climate will be held in person between May 23 and 25 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre. I4C 2023 will bring together the public and private sectors to showcase the most innovative climate solutions from the fields of finance, markets, politics and technology.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet the leaders who are driving climate action with great ambition, learn about cutting-edge approaches and identify new investors, customers and partners. BILBAO TO BE WORLD HOST FOR GEM CONFERENCE ON GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN 2025
Bilbao has been selected as the global host for the GEM Entrepreneurship Monitor Global 2025 meeting, the insignia event in the global sphere of entrepreneurship. The announcement was made during the presentation of the Global report of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) 2023/2024, held in Morocco. The meeting is supported by Bilbao City Council, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the Basque Government, through SPRI.
EEB-OVE the Basque Entrepreneurship Observatory (GEM Basque Country) submitted the city’s application, highlighting the key points which supported its selection: Euskadi stands out for having an excellent entrepreneurial system, leading the national ranking with a score above the European Union average and similar to that of the United States.
